Our Mission
Facilitate the full participation of Gambian Diasporas in all sectors (health care, education, agriculture, research and innovation, etc.) through the strategic coordination of national development efforts. The GDEI is apolitical and non-tribal /ethnic to propagate collective pooling of skills, expertise, intellectual, and financial capital to make impactful and sustainable developmental changes.

- Create a database to compile, centralize, and coordinate collaborations between individuals, government, and non-governmental agencies and organizations.
- Develop policies and structures to leverage collaborative efforts through the Gambia Diaspora Directorate.
- Develop and strengthen capacity in research, innovation, practice, and education in The Gambia through strategic collaborations.
